Hunters
By law, hunters aged 16 and older must purchase a valid Duck Stamp and carry it with them when hunting waterfowl. This ensures that hunters are contributing to conservation efforts aimed at preserving critical habitats for migratory birds and other wildlife.
Duck Stamps are also a license to give back. They serve as a visual reminder of a hunter’s commitment to conserve the land by upholding lawful hunting practices.
The revenue generated from Duck Stamp sales is used to acquire and protect wetlands and other habitats in the National Wildlife Refuge System, benefitting numerous species of wildlife.
